Student Marketer

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Student Marketer to join our team. The main role of the Student Marketer will be to create and manage engaging social media posts and to write weekly articles for our website. The ideal candidate will be passionate about digital marketing, possess excellent writing and communication skills, and have a keen eye for design.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a social media content calendar that aligns with the company's marketing objectives and targets the intended audience
  • Create high-quality social media posts that drive engagement and brand awareness across various platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram
  • Monitor and analyze social media metrics to optimize content and improve overall performance
  • Produce and publish weekly articles on our website that provide value to our audience and align with our brand messaging
  • Conduct research on industry trends and best practices to stay current with social media and content marketing trends

Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in a college or university with a focus on marketing, communication, journalism or a related field
  • Strong writing and communication skills with the ability to produce high-quality content for social media and website
  • Knowledge of content management systems such as WordPress
  • Basic understanding of SEO and how to optimize content for search engines
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop and Canva is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic

This is a part-time position, with approximately 8-10 hours per week,, paid at £12/hour depending on workload. The compensation will be based on experience and qualifications, and is ideal for students to fit around their timetable.
